A clearer operating result.

Useful when the operation needs more than another tool.

  • Availability is collected repeatedly through chat polls.
  • A team is assigned before all required roles are covered.
  • Schedule changes leave people working from different versions.

What changes

  • Availability visible in one planning view
  • Unfilled roles identified before confirmation
  • Assignments separated from tentative preferences

The practical details.

What’s included, what it connects to and how it works.

How this foundation works.
  1. Collect availability and constraints
  2. Compare people and required roles
  3. Confirm the assignment
  4. Notify participants of changes
How far can we take it?

A starting point

Availability collection, one schedule view and manual assignment with conflict indicators for an agreed team or activity.

Additional work to consider

Automatic allocation, travel constraints, rotating shifts and several locations require a more detailed scheduling model.

What can it connect to?
  • Member or staff records
  • Availability forms
  • Calendar data where accessible
  • Assignment notifications

We’ll check what your existing tools let us access before including a connection in the plan.

Is availability the same as a confirmed booking?

No. Availability indicates when someone could attend. Confirmation creates an assignment; subsequent changes need to update participants and the schedule.

Can managers make the final assignment?

Yes. The first version can show conflicts and coverage while leaving assignment decisions to a manager.
